So brief outline for my orders: - Rhinos move down to the chokepoint between river and western hills, start building a trench, making lots of mud
- Fogmakers set up on the hills above them, hide what they're doing with a fogscreen, add to muddiness with terrain magic
- Radiant's Last Argument, will hide themselves in that circular patch of forest near the Western edge, only work magic once enemies get into range
- Upper Gauntlet, one unit of Vigil Unbreaking set up on the hills north of them, ready to become protective cordon around Last Argument
- Noisemakers, wearing same uniforms as Last Argument, set out near the protective detail, look like they're the ones being guarded, but will use spirit magic to boost protection detail's morale, healing, general buffing stuff, do a lot of magic to draw scouts' attention away from Last Argument
- Set up Maulers with a fanatic horde near the western edge of the hills, Radiant's Rays and a regiment of Yesterday's Children behind them, ready to make a coordinated assault with the cavalry
- Bridge burners going down to the first bridge on the major river, take control of the traps, make sure there are enough to destroy bridge, only trigger when actual troops, preferably Inquisitors or artillery, are crossing, not prisoners or peasants; will make signal if Inquisitors begin disarming traps or traps triggered; will retreat if artillery start setting up
- Piscan Legion wait a kilometer upstream, watching for signal; once given, rush downstream, attempt to destroy bridge, eat Inquisitors
- 2 Regiments of Yesterday's Children arm up behind fanatic hordes, form up with regular units from other commanders

I tested out colour coding the unit names in my order post for the sake of clarity. I'd like to know if you think it helps or if it just makes it harder to read the text.

Electricity got cut in my house and I have no idea when I will have it back - thanks to miscommunication and whatnot. My landlady is responsible for paying my electricity bills but the town council suddenly stopped sending her my bills because they are not under my name. Anyway.
Clearly my own side of the charge got fucked because they got artillery across. I am going to try redirect the hordes into the west. Cannot hope to hold the eastern river, either. But for now at least we have probably won the west and divided their army.

Hello from Computer lab. So what I was thinking was that Mike should basically Charge straight through to the enemy lines instead of taking time going around. I will lead the heretics through the gap in the enemy lines in the hills. I am torn between suggesting dev push through to hit the enemy artillery or else actually taking the enemy infantry in the back before they finish off the heretics. Leaning towards second Option.
EDIT Chances are will not have Internet properly till weekend

Since Dev has not posted yet and Wakes up quite late, the orders we agreed on would be he sends the horse archers and R7 to chase down fleeing Units, focusing on Inquisitors, while he charges through to the artillery with the remaining cavalry and tries to break the Units there without getting encircled. The mages, archers and pikemen above him are to assist, of course.

Just to be clear, the Sistorian eagles should be able to see through the darkness and that is why they are being sent to guide the Suren Magi in their hunt for Republican stragglers. They should be able to pinpoint them and assist directly and indirectly in a devastating ambush.
